Beginning in 1978 in New York City, Only Hearts was a store for the shameless romantic. It was filled with everything heart related and abounded with beautiful items of clothing. Creator Helena Stuart started a trend of wearing lingerie as outerwear, and didn’t turn back. Although back then it was considered a little odd or even improper, it was that risk that began what is today considered a stylish and fresh approach to a woman’s everyday wardrobe. Along with her daughter Kaya, the brand has grown to the extreme, being featured in major magazines, large department stores and small boutiques, and includes many beautiful fashions. Recently, they have included another store on their list with OH:PoP, where they have limited edition Only Hearts Vintage Pieces that have never been worn, styles that are as hip today as they were back then, celebrities such as Madonna and Chloe Sevigny are frequent shoppers.
